Pennington Italian Oregano

Oregano provides food and a habitat for beneficial insects, such as lacewings. When lacewings emerge they are voracious predators of aphids, whiteflies, cabbage moth caterpillars, and many other common garden pests. Oregano performs well in part to full sun, but the flavors intensify when it receives at least 8 hours of sun per day. Choose the perfect sunny garden spot or you can plant in containers on your deck, patio or walkways. Provide water over the soil at the base of your plant when the top 2" of the soil is dry. Watch as your italian oregano plant takes off and provides many benefits, enjoy!
