Pennington Habanero Red Hot Pepper
The habanero is a hot variety of chili. Unripe habaneros are green, and they color as they mature to vibrant reds, oranges and more. Habanero peppers are packed with capsaicin and capsaicinoid antioxidants. These phytonutrients work in synergy to help decrease insulin resistance, improve pancreatic activity, prevent sudden spikes in blood sugar levels, additionally, dilating blood vessels to aid in blood flow and so much more. Habaneros are easy and fun to grow with a high fruit yield with just a little time and proper care. They can be planted in a sunny garden spot with rich well-draining soil or even in pots or containers on a deck or patio. Provide water over top of the soil at the base of your plant when the top 2" of the soil is dry. Enjoy watching your fruits grow and the delicious taste of growing your own habaneros!
